We want to address a concern this year prior to the official start of our 2018 season.
Y'all already know that we are definately NOT a typical "snowcone" stand. Our snoballs are a little more in-depth than the average. So....we want every person that visits us to have a fair chance in line when ordering. We feel this will help alleviate 'waiting times' for others.
With that said...we will have new Order Limits:
To be courteous and fair to everyone standing in line waiting patiently...
***PLEASE LIMIT 2 SNO-BALLS PER PERSON FOR ALL TAKE-OUT/CARRY ORDERS***
*If you need more than 2 per order, bring an extra co-worker, friend, or person with you! If you need more than that...bring more folks with two hands!
If your entire squad is physically present in line with you, keep calm and carry on with your order for everyone! :)
****We can no longer cold-hold ANY orders. Please be available to receive your
sno-balls once made ready and your order is called.****
What do you mean by this? I don't understand?
Example scenario: You're waiting in line, enjoying the music, talking to everyone ...until you discover that the one person in front of you ordered 8 sno-balls "to-go" and the person in front of that person ordered 6 sno-balls "to-go" and the one person in front of those two people ordered 4 sno-balls "to-go"...
...these take-out/carry orders per ONE person (whom is ordering for a large group at another location); upsets those who are patiently waiting. Unbeknownst the details to them, they do not understand what is occurring in the line ahead at the window. So, those folks become upset at the Sticky Lips Crew for 'being slow' when we're actually just working hard on making 4-8 and sometimes up to 10 specialized or even customized sno-balls all at once for just ONE large order. ....AND.... we hope this will prevent the delivery of sad-looking, melted sno-balls to the "to-go" recipients...which also reflects very poorly on us.
These are the things that make us incredibly sad. We have a high standard for quality snoballs and good customer service that we work hard to achieve and strive for each day. We feel this change will better serve everyone that patiently waits in our lines.
We sincerely hope that everyone will understand this new change to serve y'all fairly + quickly. We absolutely appreciate y'all and are incredibly grateful to everyone that comes to visit us!
